Problem Solving

 I learned those problem solving which is counting up/back, rounding and compensating, also place value and written algorithm in maths.

First, I learned the first question and wrote the different answers and equations. It was hard because I needed to answer and write the equation 3 times.

Next, I read the second question and the same thing as the first question. It is kind of easy because the question was subtraction.

I enjoyed this learning because problem solving helps me learned a lot in maths.

Place Value and Written Algorithm

Place Value

1. Write the equation question.

2. Split the first number.

3. Multiply the ones on the first number when you split the ones, tens.

4. Multiply the tens.

5. Plus the number when you write an answer that you split the first number.

Written Algorithm

1. Write the equation aligned and down.

2. Put the line under the question.

3. Multiply the ones first.

4. Put the answer under the line and it has to be columns.

5. Put the tens top of the tens column onto a ones column answer

6. Plus the tens in the top of the number onto the tens column.

7. multiply the tens.

Opinions

 My group, Recount Writer and I were learning about opinions using optical illusion images.

First, I talked about my opinion in the first picture about the optical illusion. We saw which animal it was. There were two animals in the picture.

Next, I talked about my opinion again but in the second picture with a different optical illusion image there are many legs on the picture. There was a hidden leg that I was tricked.

Lastly, I talk about my opinion an this is my optical illusion. There are many animals that you can not even know about. It was hard to find all of the animals in the optical illusion.

I learned a lot about it because It makes me trick myself.

How to Write a Compound Sentence

Compound sentences are two simple sentences stuck togather.

A compound sentence uses one simple sentence, one comma, one fanboy, and one simple sentence.

The men are running fast, and jumping over the hurdles.

Those were the steps to write a compound sentence.
