Today we read a poem and answered some questions. I got 10/10.

Life Education

This week we did some learning with Harold in the Life Education caravan. We learnt about feeling zones and how to stay in the green zone.

Concrete and Abstract Nouns

We have learnt about the differences between concrete and abstract nouns.

Sentence Example

Simple - He played.

Compound - He played basketball for ten weeks.

Complex - Until we were on holiday, he played basketball for ten weeks.

Today we remember the different sentence types wrote some example.

Collective Nouns

We created a DLO to explain what collective nouns are. We found some interesting ones.

Road Safety Quiz

Light and Sound Experiment

This  afternoon LS1 and Room 5 went to the reserve and did an experiment. We needed to put our hands up when we heard the clapper. We made a long line beside the water. Ms. Kirkpatrick was at one end. When she clapped the sound travelled down the line. People put their hands up in a wave. We saw the clapper before we heard the sound because light travels faster than sound.
