Poetry Slam

I completed the Summer Learning Journey Poetry Slam

First, I thought of the nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, I wrote the synynoms so the nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are the same thing.

Next, I found 4 pictures for my first slide.

Last I went to the next slide and found some more pictures that I had done in summer.

I wanted to do this task again because I have learned a lot of this poetry slam also I was interested about the nouns,

verbs, adjective and adverbs but I have to do the next Summer Learning Journey task.

  1. Hello Jebrael,

Your blog post is very informative.
I like how you have added a picture of flash for the adverb quickly.
I also liked how you have explained this task in your paragraph.
Same as you, I have also done this Summer Learning Journey task.
The things that I liked were Ice cream, Friends, Parks, Cycling and lots of other things.
I also love eating ice-cream during summer. What is your favourite flavour?

Keep up your excellent work!! I am looking forward for your reply.

  2. Mōrena Jebrael,

It’s Charlotte here, a blog commenter for Manaiakalani. Great job completing the Poetry Slam, Kick Start activity!

I noticed that you included a picture of giraffes as one of your favourite things to do in Summer. Giraffes are one of my favourite animals, and one time I went to the Auckland Zoo and got to feed them! What is your favourite animal?

I think it is very cool that you enjoyed learning about poetry slam, I think that poetry slam is awesome! If you wanted to try and challenge yourself a little more and earn some extra points for the Summer Learning Journey, you could try and give the ‘Poetry Slam, Step it up’ activity a go!

  3. Malo e Lelei Jebrael,

WOW what a awesome piece of work you've done. I like how you added a image to match each description. I didn't get to finish this task but I'm glad to see you finish this.

Keep up the good work. :)
